Northland Haze

Northland Haze celebrates New Zealand’s ’winterless’ North, where the subtropical climate makes it one of the country’s main growing regions for mandarins.

How to make a Northland Haze cocktail

• Gin – 2 parts
• Cointreau – 1 part
• Mandarin – 2 parts
• Lemon Juice – 1 part
• Lemonade – 2 parts

Blend the Mandarin to a fine pulp. Mix the gin, Cointreau, mandarin and lemon juice, shake with ice, then pour into an ice filled jar and add the lemonade.

Tip: If Mandarins aren’t available they can be replaced with orange, but this will affect the flavour. To create the hazy appearance make sure you use mandarin (or orange) pulp rather than juice.
